Complementary Therapies
WHAT ARE COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
Complementary therapies are supportive approaches that work alongside psychological, medical, or coaching support to enhance wellbeing, regulation, and overall balance. They are not intended to replace medical treatment or psychological therapy, but to complement existing care in a gentle, non-invasive way.
At Blue Amber, complementary therapies are offered within a psychologically informed, trauma-aware, and consent-led framework, ensuring they are used appropriately, ethically, and with clear boundaries.
HOW COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES CAN HELP
Complementary therapies may support individuals who are experiencing:
• Ongoing stress, overwhelm, or burnout
• Emotional or nervous system dysregulation
• Difficulty relaxing or switching off
• Physical tension linked to stress or emotional load
• Fatigue, chronic illness, or long-term health conditions
• Periods of transition, loss, or uncertainty
These approaches can be particularly helpful when verbal work feels tiring or when the body and nervous system need settling alongside cognitive or emotional support.
